Texas born,
New York bred,
and still a little bit country
Marc is a multidisciplinary designer, trained in analog tools, with strong strategic instincts, and a foundation in culture. Known for his creative approach to typography and visual storytelling, and often drawing inspiration from cultural and historical contexts, he has worked in a range of disciplines across print, packaging and digital, and with clients operating in fashion, tech, beauty, wellness, and arts and culture.
Marc currently serves as the Art Director at Jewish Currents, where he leads art and design for one of the most decisive progressive jewish publications today. Previously, he was Art Director at ALTR Studio, collaborating with cultural institutions and CPG brands, and start ups. Marc is known for his design leadership, fluency in visual language, and experimental approach, teaching design intensives, contributing to mission-driven projects, and recently leading a team to create a memetic brand with a longtail impact.
From 2017-2023 Marc also ran a small goat-dairy farm from his homestead in upstate New York, and learned the pleasures of animal husbandry and regenerative agriculture practices. When not designing, he shares in the joy of parenting with his partner, teaches design courses, and writes without authorship.
