9. PopSockets

ALTR worked with their marketing and product design departments to develop the creative direction of the brand, developing their messaging, look and feel, and redesigning their digital experience across platforms.
ALTR’s aim was to position PopSocket’s better in their market and leverage their existing core audience’s desire for on-trend lifestyle and editorial artwork. Our creative direction work was immediately put to the test across web experiences and social platforms.
PopSockets' origin story was a key factor in defining the brand. It was clear that their core mission of promoting happiness and spreading laughs needed to stand out. I helped elevate this discovery in ways that would attract the right influencers and brand loyalists. Working with the ALTR creative director, I designed the brand guide for PopSockets, and redesigned their web footprint with strong UX conversion patterns and UI that strengthened PopSockets’ position. The digital redesign used lifestyle cues and an elevated visual design that helped to mark the brand’s product as a fashion accessory. The key results were a refined art direction, and actionable tools that vendors could use to create cohesive assets that continued to reveal the brand's personality.
